The Orsay Museum
The Orsay Museum is a museum on the left bank of the Seine river. It was established in the year 1986. The Orsay collection is a prominent center for Western art. It is home to an impressive collection of paintings, sculptures, and decorative arts. The collection shows a clear view of French culture dating back between the mid-19th century and the 20th century. One of its well-known paintings is the whistler’s mother.
