Palace of Versailles
The Palace of Versailles was built by king Louis XIV. It is located in Versailles which is 12 miles west of Paris. It spent the war years giving support to people and assisting the wounded and the families of soldiers. The palace was chosen as the point for the signing of the peace treaty in 1919 and it once again became the center of the world’s attention.
