Trevi Fountain
There are many ancient and iconic fountains in Rome, but the journey to Rome is not complete without visiting the Trevi Fountain. The Trevi Fountain or ‘Fontana di Trevi’ is a historic and dates back to ancient Roman times located in Rome, Italy. It is one of the most famous tourist attractions in Italy, people come from far and wide to see it.
The fountain was built between 1732 and 1762, designed by Italian architect Nicola Salvi and completed by Giuseppe Pannini. It is 85 feet (26 m) high and 161 feet (49 m) wide. The fountain depicts Greek sea God Oceanus, on a conch-shaped chariot drawn by two horses, each guided by a triton.
