Austria
Austria is a small European country and is also known as one of the most stable and richest countries. It is located at the heart of Europe and is a landlocked country. The Air Pollution Impact Act sets mandatory limit values and targets in relation to certain air pollutants. Under the Kyoto Protocol and EU agreements, Austria has undertaken to reduce its greenhouse gas emission. In 2011 the country also adopted a Climate Mitigation Act which ensures clean and green environment. The law and order agencies are doing their best to maintain hygiene and sanitation. The government is also supporting the citizens to plant more and more plants which make it an eco-friendly country.
