Victoria Falls
Victoria Falls are one of the most famous waterfalls in the world and are located on the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe in southern Africa. It’s located on the Zambezi River and with a total width of 5,604 feet (1,708 meters) is considered to be some of the biggest waterfalls in the world. Just like Lake Victoria, the waterfall has been named after Queen Victoria. This magnificent feat of nature was named after her by famous Scottish missionary and explorer David Livingstone who is believed to have been the first European to see the waterfalls in 1855.
