Water lilies
The water lilies are beautiful and fragrant flower of the Nymphaeaceae family. They live as rhizomatous aquatic herbs in temperate and tropical climates around the world. There are 70 different types of water lilies in the world. They only grow in calm, shallow fresh water such as ponds.
Informatively, the water lily is the national flower of Bangladesh, which is one of the most beautiful flowers in the world. Most of its species have rounded, variously pointed, waxy coated leaves on long stalks.
